In his role at Ditto Music, Anthony Barton helps independent artists get their music “out there” to the world. He believes that all artists should have a chance to “make it”, without the pressure of being signed to a label. Ditto Music has proven that you do not need to be signed to a label to be successful as an indie artist, breaking artists into the top 10 in the UK and US, and recently having their first Gold Record (35,000 units sold) in Australia.
Anthony works closely with Ditto’s Aussie acts, ensuring their releases are delivered to stores such as iTunes, Spotify, Google Play and Shazam. With a background in music retail, music video production and festival management, Anthony loves giving indie artists the same opportunities usually reserved for signed acts.
