Bjørn Pfarr is the Head of Music Program and Alternate Director of Hamburg-based Reeperbahn Festival, Europe’s leading club festival and conference – a 4-day indoor live music club festival including more than 450 live acts on more than 30 stages. In 2017 Reeperbahn Festival will welcome 37,000 visitors, including 4,400 professionals from 42 nations. Across 70 venues, more than 800 events will host concerts, showcases, arts programs, conference sessions, networking activities and award shows. After obtaining his degree in Cultural Studies at Lüneburg University, Bjørn worked as a project manager at an event and promotion agency before joining Reeperbahn Festival for its inauguration in 2006, becoming the Head of Music Program in 2008.
