Brodie Lancaster is an editor, author and critic. Her debut book, a pop culture memoir titled No Way! Okay, Fine, was published by Hachette in 2017.
She has written essays, interviews and criticism for publications including Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Rookie, Elle, The Guardian, MTV News, Vulture, Junkee, Noisey and The Pitchfork Review. In 2015 Brodie delivered a TED Talk at TEDxYouth@Sydney, and in 2016 she presented a paper on fan culture and online communities at the EMP Pop Conference, and gave a mini keynote on female fans of male pop artists at Big Sound. In 2012 she founded Filmme Fatales, a zine about women in cinema, that ran for eight issues. Brodie is a managing editor at The Good Copy and has a secret YouTube channel about makeup and skincare.
