Chris Johnston

The Age

Chris Johnston is a senior writer with The Age and the Sydney Morning Herald. He has been a journalist for nearly 30 years and did time with Melbourne street press and national music magazines in the ‘80s and ‘90s. He has the occasional music show on 3RRR, wrote The Age’s ‘The Crate’ column for 12 years and is a judge on the Australian Music Prize. His first book ‘The Family’, about a religious cult, is out in 2017.
