Con Kalamaras works at the Melbourne office of APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association), his role is to assist, guide and work through all the Royalties queries that composers call about. His role involves him also organising educational outreach programs within Victoria and Tasmania. APRA | AMCOS help make sure that songwriters and music publishers get paid when their musical works are publicly performed, communicated or reproduced in a recorded format for many different purposes. After hours Con pursues his musical passion playing in various Rebetika groups till all hours of the night and also with LadyDanger. He also has a massive collection of 78 Greek recordings from the 1920’s and 1930’s!
