Program Manager, Music Tasmania
Dario Phillips is the Program Manager for Music Tasmania – the peak body for Tasmania’s contemporary music community. Projects that Music Tasmania coordinates include a rehearsal facility and Tasmania’s contemporary music showcase Amplified, to be held this year in Hobart on November 29th-30th. Dario has been working in music business since he began calling himself a manager for his mates band from school in 2006. Since then, Dario has been taken under the wing of the JB Seed, Control, and the AAM mentorship program. His rockstar moment was at a High School social night, playing bass and covering tunes like Spiderbait’s ‘Black Betty’ and The Offspring’s ‘Million Miles Away’.
