Dr Kate Shaw
Future Fellow in Urban Planning & Geography, University of Melbourne

Kate is a research fellow in Architecture, Building and Planning at the University of Melbourne with a PhD in urban planning and a masters degree in urban policy. Her research interests include social equity, cultural diversity, housing markets, gentrification, and urban policy and planning. She has received several awards for her publications in these areas. Her most recent book is a co-edited collection of international accounts of gentrification titled, Whose Urban Renaissance?
