Ed Sholl

Future Classic

Ed Sholl currently manages the label department at Future Classic, an independent management agency, record label, music publisher and touring company based in Sydney.  He cut his teeth in the music industry as a blogger and independent band manager, and then worked across several departments at Universal Music Australia, from Digital Sales to Marketing and Licensing, before joining Future Classic in 2012.

Ed’s current role involves overseeing the creation, scheduling and release of FC label repertoire, running global marketing and release campaigns as well as developing the label’s digital distribution relationships and infrastructure. Career highlights include managing Flume’s debut and sophomore album campaigns, Chet Faker’s debut album Built on Glass, working on albums with Seekae, Jagwar Ma and Flight Facilities, and the FCX: Ten Years of Future Classic shows at Sydney’s Opera House in 2015.
