Georgia Fields is an independent musician, writer, and arranger based in Melbourne, Australia. Her debut album, which featured lush orchestral arrangements, was released to critical acclaim in 2010 (Album of the Week’ for Radio National and Melbourne’s Beat Magazine). Fields has toured nationally with her Mini-Indie-Orchestra, including a sold-out showcase at The Famous Spiegeltent. As an arranger, Fields has composed orchestral scores for many independent pop releases. She recently reimagined David Bowie’s seminal ‘Ziggy Stardust’ work, completely rearranging the album for string section and voice. Fields has spoken at several Face the Music events. She is a mentor with The Push’s ‘Songs’ program, and her writing has been published by Penguin.
