Glenn Dickie picGlenn Dickie is the Export Music Producer for Sounds Australia, joining in February 2013. Glenn spent 13 years at EMI Music working across A&R, Promo and Marketing. In 2003 Glenn Co-Founded Stage Mothers and The Aussie BBQ which has become the biggest showcase of Australian live music outside of Australia. His musical journey began in the 70’s hitting the pots and pans in his mum’s kitchen. In the 80’s he destroyed his dad’s stereo scratching Queens “JAZZ” album and discovered skateboarding, Iron Maiden, Beastie Boys and acid wash jeans. In the 90’s he started at Melbourne’s 3Triple R FM where he spent 12 years doing a show called Best of the Brat. During his time at EMI he worked with artists from Katy Perry and Lily Allen to You Am I and Sigur Ros. Glenn was involved in signing artists such as JET, Miami Horror, Ricki-Lee, Oh Mercy, Grey Ghost, 360 and PEZ.
