Gregg Donovan

Gregg Donovan started his career in the early ’90s as a manager and local promoter in Canberra. In 1997 he moved to Sydney to work as an office manager for promoter Steve Pavlovic (Pav Presents). He soon became a tour manager / promoter rep working with the likes of Fugazi, The Beastie Boys, NOFX and Ben Harper. After that he went out on his own as a freelance tour manager and worked with Pearl Jam, Ricky Martin, Shania Twain, At The Drive In, The Mars Volta, Deftones, Lily Allen, The Happy Mondays and Muse to name a few. Gregg won two ALMAS (Australian Live Music Awards) for his work as a tour manager. He has also been active in the Australian music community by being involved in many panels and conferences, spent two years on the board of MusicNSW and three years on the Australian board of the IMMF (International Music Managers Forum). He is also a founding member of the AAM (Australian Association of Managers). Since 2001 Gregg has had his own artist management company called Step2 Artist Management. In 2007 Gregg Donovan and Stuart MacQueen decided to partner up and start a new company called Wonderlick Entertainment. Wonderlick has a JV with EMI Publishing and also has a label JV with Sony Music. They currently oversee the management of Boy & Bear, Airbourne, Grinspoon, Josh Pyke, Max & Bianca, Marvin Priest, Jackson McLaren, Tim Hart and The Paper Kites.
