Policy Director, National Live Music Office
John Wardle is Policy Director from the Federal Governments Live Music Office. John has played a strategic role in liquor law reforms across a number of states, as well as to NSW Place of Public Entertainment (PoPE) regulation and associated Building Code of Australia provisions. In 2013, John was appointed Chair of the City of Sydney’s Live Music and Performance Taskforce before the establishment of the Live Music Office in July 2013, where John works closely with the live music sector and state and local governments throughout Australia to develop coordinated centre of government venue based live music policy.
