Katie Stewart

Laneway Music Festival

Katie Stewart started working with Lunatic Entertainment in 2007 after hearing director Danny Rogers give a guest lecture at her university. From running St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival’s local Melbourne volunteers in 2008, she has risen to general manager of both Lunatic Entertainment and Laneway Festival, which has grown from humble beginnings in Melbourne’s Caledonian Lane in 2005 to an international festival in eight cities across four continents.

Now in her fourth year as GM, her role involves overseeing all festival departments and reporting directly to the four festival directors, Danny Rogers (Lunatic Entertainment, whose management roster includes Gotye, The Temper Trap, CHVRCHES, Mansionair, D.D Dumbo and Dreller), Jerome Borazio (Get Notorious), Michael Chugg (Chugg Entertainment) and Matthew Lazarus-Hall (Uncommon Cord).

Katie has diverse experience in artist management, national and international tour management, touring offers and budgets, working closely with Danny Rogers, Susan Heymann (Chugg Entertainment) and Emily York (Penny Drop).
