Quincy McLean
Co-founder, SLAM / Bakehouse Studios / Blue Ruin

Quincy McLean is the co-founder of SLAM and began Melbourne’s iconic Bakehouse Studios in 1991. He has been a prolific musician for the last 30 years having released seven albums, toured and gigged extensively. Quincy is a member of Victorian Music Council and the Industry Advisory Committee at RMIT’s Sound Production Dept. In 2010 he was listed as one of  Melbourne’ Magazine’s Top 100 Most Influential & Creative People, awarded a special Age EG Award for Services To The Music Community and was nominated for Male of the Year in Rolling Stone magazine. He was nominated for an ARIA in 1991. His most treasured award is the Grant MacLellan Medal for Most Stylish Player at the 2012 Community Cup!
