Director, Love & Theft Recording Co.
For the better part of a decade Steve Harris has worked as a label manager, artist manager, A&R consultant and festival music programmer for a number of organisations including The Orchard, The A&R Department and Melbourne Fringe, and only started his own record label, the Love & Theft Recording Co., after being bullied into it by one of his favourite local bands. With a strong focus on high quality vinyl releases, the last 6 months has seen Love & Theft release records for Baptism of Uzi, Chris Russell’s Chicken Walk, Saint Jude, Cosmic Psychos, Cherrywood and Adalita. In addition to this, Steve works for The Song Room, a national non-profit organisation delivering music and arts programs to disadvantaged children.
