Tim has witnessed first-hand the steady growth of the Australian electronic music scene over 20 years. His first exposure to electronic dance music came in 1996 when he was taken to an intimate outdoor doof outside Melbourne and introduced to the unique subculture community. It changed the trajectory of his life and helped define his future friendships and career.
With formal training in communications, marketing and PR, alongside a strong musical background, it wasn’t long before Tim’s passions aligned and he found himself organising and promoting outdoor music festivals and events. For the past 11 years he has been the marketing & communications director of the internationally recognised Rainbow Serpent Festival.
Tim also managed the marketing team behind the 2012 Solar Eclipse festival and has consulted on social media, issues and crisis management and marketing for a numerous companies, music festivals and record labels.
